Inspire Adults
Inspire Adults offers exciting performance opportunities, productions and workshops throughout the year for adults who love to perform.
Whether you’ve continued performing into adulthood, trained professionally, or are returning after some time away, Inspire Adults is a chance to get back in the rehearsal room, challenge yourself and perform alongside a brilliant group of like-minded people.
PERFORM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
There are a number of opportunities to get involved with Inspire Adults throughout the year:
APRIL / MAY – THE PLAYHOUSE THEATRE
Each year, our adult performers have the opportunity to take part in Inspire’s annual production at The Playhouse Theatre, Weston-super-Mare, performing alongside our wider Inspire company in a large-scale theatre production.
AUGUST / SEPTEMBER – ADULTS-ONLY SHOWCASE
Our annual Adults-Only Showcase gives our adult company the chance to take centre stage in an evening of Musical Theatre.
Featuring everything from big ensemble numbers and choreography to solos, duets and smaller group pieces, the show is created around the performers involved and showcases a wide range of styles.
SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER – WORKSHOP SEASON
Following our showcase, we head into our Adult Workshop Season!
Throughout the autumn we run pop-up classes and workshops covering styles including Musical Theatre, Commercial/Sass, Heels, Lyrical and more – giving you the chance to keep performing, try something new and develop your skills without committing to a weekly class all year round.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our adult opportunities are open to adults aged 18+ and are best suited to those with some previous dance or performance experience – whether from childhood classes, professional training or simply returning after some time away.
Above all, Inspire Adults is about continuing to perform, challenging yourself and enjoying being back in the rehearsal room and on stage.
