Inspire was launched in 2019. I attended classes in dancing, singing, and acting from the age of 2 and fell in love with performing. I moved to London to attend further training at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. I received a 1st Class BA Hons Degree in Musical Theatre, and began to teach performing arts in London.
Alongside my teaching work, I continued working as a professional performer which has included Devising New Theatre; Utopia (Theatre), Men who March Away (Theatre), Hue Leggings (Commercial), Rocketman (Motion Picture) Lead dancer and Choreographer for Queen B: The Beyoncé Experience (stage), Fireman SAm (UK TOUR) , MILKSHAKE LIVE! (UK TOUR), JACK AND THE BEANSTALK - Female EnSEMBLE/DANCE CAPTAIN ( THEATRE)

After gaining this vital experience, I wanted to create inspire for those who dream of being on stage and make that a reality. I wanted to create a welcoming environment and a supportive community. I booked my first studio and the rest is history.

Inspire provides dance and drama classes for a range of ages and nothing is better than seeing someone's skills and self-confidence grow. I love sharing my passion with others and I am so grateful that I get to do this incredible job every single day.

As someone who had to practice incredibly hard to get where I am today, I know the importance of a good teacher. I’ve taken everything I have learned over the years and combined it into an approach that is friendly, approachable and effective.

Emily is one of our inspire assistants. she is very passionate about children expressing themselves through dance, drama, and singing. Emily loves seeing your children’s friendly and smiling faces, ready to have fun!
Jane is a massive help behind the scenes of inspire. You'll see jane in our weekly Tuesday and Thursday classes. She loves watching the children's growth weekly and loves show term (even though its hard work!)

Abi is a skillful performer, theatre reviewer and qualified drama teacher, specialising in devised theatre, physical theatre and Shakespeare.
Abi achieved her degree in Drama and Theatre Studies, and a Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Secondary Drama, from Bath Spa University and has experience teaching drama and literature in schools across the South West. She has acted as a ‘dismal steward’ at Banksy’s ‘Dismaland’, trained with theatre companies such as Frantic Assembly and Punchdrunk, and has been involved in successful shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Abi helped co-write our script for our 2022 Showcase ‘A Twist in Time’ playing ‘the Librarian’. Abi loves continuing her passion through teaching; inspiring young people to express thoughts and explore topics through performing arts, whilst finding their confidence and having fun along the way.
